Hey y’all! I’m SO excited to share this post today. I’m the matron of honor for my little sister’s wedding next month, and it’s seriously so crazy that the wedding is only a month away! I feel like my sister has been planning forever, and it’s so exciting to see all of her visions and dreams come to life. 🙂 It can be challenging sometimes to find the perfect gift for a bride to be. I always like getting practical gifts that will be used over and over – so making sure my gifts are really good quality + will last for many years is so important to me.
Luggage and personalized pieces are always such great gifts to give (and to receive! haha) for any occasion, especially as gifts for brides and bridesmaids. My sister travels a lot right now in this season of her life. She’s in grad school and flies to Florida for classes at least once a month. She would always struggle carrying tons bags around with her for every trip, and needed more functional pieces.

I found this Laptop Tote for her from Vera Bradley and it’s PERFECT! She said all of her girlfriends in her classes were obsessed with it when she came to class with it for the first time. It has a luggage strap on the bag, so it slides right on the handle of your suitcase. GENIUS! It’s also SO big and sturdy that she didn’t even need to take a purse with her. She uses it as her carry-on + purse, so it minimizes what she has to take when she travels. If any of y’all travel, you know the less stuff you have to carry, the better! 🙂
Plus, I got it personalized with her new initials (her new last name and maiden name are both ‘B’ and I was the same way!) to make it even cuter! Vera Bradley recently started doing their own embroidery/personilization, which adds a special personal touch to any item! 🙂

She has also had the hardest time with luggage. I love this black luggage set from Vera Bradley because the black color is timeless and I love the quilted fabric pattern. It has the cutest hot pink wheels, so it’s easy to spot when it’s coming down the luggage belt. 🙂 The small, carry-on size and the large size are both so functional and make it so easy to organize all of your essentials. They are available as a set of 2 suitcases, which is perfect for couples or you can buy them separately as the large spinner and small spinner as well.
We’re going on her bachelorette trip to Nashville in a few weekends and we’re trying to take 1 car for all of the girls haha. We will see how that works! I got us both the Vera Bradley Weekender Travel Bags for our trip to help us save on space! The Petite Vines pattern is seriously so adorable and it matches the black luggage perfectly. It also has a trolley sleeve on the back of the bag, so you can slide it onto the handle of your suit case – just like the laptop tote! It’s such an amazing feature and a must-have when you’re traveling.
