Turtleneck Sweater Dress from Mud Pie // Plaid Wrap in Black from Mud Pie // Wide Brim Hat in Dusty Rose from Mud Pie // Black Over the Knee Boots // Black Crossbody // Pave Earrings // Watch // Lip Color in Rose Julep //

Hey y’all! I’m so excited to share this adorable fall look with y’all today. I wore this grey turtleneck sweater dress and plaid wrap last week to my sisters wedding venue, and so many of y’all were wanting to know where I got it! They’re both from Mud Pie and I seriously LOVE their brand. They always have the cutest women’s clothing pieces and for baby too! I have so many precious things for Olivia from Mud Pie! She wore this little Mud Pie Jingle Bells One Piece outfit to visit Santa (I’ll be sharing pics soon!). πŸ™‚

I have so many of y’all asking for family photo outfit inspo, and the outfit is perfect. The grey turtleneck sweater dress is the perfect neutral and it’s very flattering + forgiving. It fits true to size and I love the length. I’m 5’5 and a lot of sweater dresses I’ve tried are so short! I can raise my arms up, pick up Olivia, and move around comfortable without having to worry about my dress coming up.

I paired it with a black and white plaid wrap that’s also from Mud Pie. It adds an extra dash of cuteness (& more importantly – warmth). I love hats & this wide brim hat is PERFECT – especially on days where it’s windy out. When you have long hair, wind is the worst for photos haha. Especially when you’re wearing lip gloss and have a baby that loves to pull your hair. :’) This hat is so chic and is such good quality.

I paired this look with simple black over the knee boots and a black crossbody bag! πŸ™‚ This is such an easy, cute, & comfy fall look that you’ll want to wear over and over again (I’ve already worn this dress 3 times!!).

For family photos, simple is best. I always say do coordinating, not matching! If you’re going to do a print (we did this year) – only have 1 person in it (or multiple in the same pattern) – and coordinate everyone else around it. Olivia had a maroon plaid dress, so I wore ivory and drew wore tan! πŸ™‚ Neutrals always look good. Remember to consider your background too. We were shooting around greenery, so our colors popped. Green on green usually doesn’t do well, just like red on red. You want to pop and coordinate!

Thank you so much to Mud Pie for sponsoring this post. πŸ™‚ As always, I only share brands that I truly love!
