I feel like all parents must say this same thing, but I can’t believe that olivia is officially 1 year old today. This has been the best, hardest, and sweetest year of my life. 🙂 I love watching her grow and learn new things. She’s growing into a little girl right before our eyes. I need time to slow down just for a little bit. I love this age right now – I feel like I’ve said that at every stage (after 5 months LOL!), but it’s so true. She’s starting to talk more and understand the world around her. She knows more than I’m even aware and is so smart.
Looking at these photos, it makes me so happy and so sad at the same time. I’m like, when did my little baby get so big? Seriously though. We’re so thankful for Crystal Barbee Photography for capturing these precious pictures of olivia. Her fun little personality shines through in all of them. I need all of them printed and hung up around my house haha. Some of her favorite things are eating (anything – she’s the best eater!), playing with Charlie + Penny, playing with her babies, snacking on puffs, watching Doc McStuffins and singing the ‘Oh, Oh, Oh’ in the intro song, Mickey Mouse, playing with my shoes and trying to carry 3 pairs around at once, listening to music, reading books, and sleeping (she’s still such a great sleeper!). She’s walking all over the place now and officially started walking about a week ago. Just in time for her first birthday! 🙂 She has 8 teeth (4 top and 4 bottom), and finally has enough hair to clip a little bow in. 🙂
Becoming a mom has been the greatest thing I’ve ever done, and I can’t imagine my life any other way. My life has an entire new purpose, and I always want to be the best example to Olivia in all aspects of life. I hope she always knows how much Drew and I love each other, and how much we love her. It’s the best, sweetest, most wonderful love in the world.
