all about the bachelorette weekend in nashville

Hey y’all! I’ve been wanting to share this post for a while now. With the whirlwind of the wedding, Christmas, and family time, I’m finally getting back into the swing of things.

As many of y’all know, we went to Nashville Dec 14-16 for my sister, Michaela’s, bachelorette party. Most of us hadn’t ever been to Nashville before, so we wanted to make sure Michaela got to do everything she wanted while we were there. On Friday, we left early (well we attempted to) haha, so we could have time to do things during the day in Nash.

We ended up stopping at Arlington Vineyards on our way up, which is the cutest vineyard right outside of Nashville. The rolling hills and landscape around the vineyard was seriously breathtaking. Hands down some of the prettiest views for sure. We ended up doing the flight of wines, and I think all of us agreed that the blackberry was the best. I’m not a huge wine drinker, and I really liked it, so i feel like that says a lot. 🙂

We checked into our hotel as soon as we got into town, and it was beautiful! We stayed at the Thompson Nashville, and I’m so glad we did. It was amazing. The rooms were beautiful, so clean, and I loved the style of the rooms. Everything was super bright and modern, and it was the perfect space for all of us girls to relax and unwind for the weekend.

The staff at the Thompson Nashville were amazing too. They were so helpful and always willing to go above and beyond. We brought some balloons to decorate our room for Saturday night, called the concierge, and he had them blown up back in our room within 30 minutes. They also knew we were celebrating my sister’s bachelorette, so they brought us up a complimentary bottle of champagne. It was so sweet and thoughtful! On our way home, they got me a bunch of baggies of ice to keep my breast milk cold on the way home. It’s the little things y’all. :’)

Friday night we went out for a little while downtown and went to dinner at. After we went to a few bars and didn’t stay out too late!

Saturday morning we slept in (it was so nice getting to sleep in!) and went and got breakfast at biscuit love. The line was long, but it was so worth it. The food was amazing and their iced coffee was divine. Free refills too which is, um, amazing. I got all of the girls the cutest rose colored bachelorette party tees that said ‘Brides Babes’ on them and we were those around all morning and afternoon around Nashville. We did some shopping, walked around, and just have fun exploring the city.

Later that afternoon, we went to a candle making class. It was so much fun! You get to pick your vessel aka the jar and the scent you want. The bring hot wax around and you mix your fragrance into the hot wax and set your wick in place. It was so fun seeing everyone’s candles. We left them there to cool and picked them up on our way home on Sunday. 🙂

Saturday night was the big night we wanted to go out and have fun. We started the night off in the hotel and played a few fun games before we left for dinner + to go out. We went to for dinner and it was so good! They have the cutest pink velvet boots and it’s a very quaint little restaurant.

After dinner, we went to the Noel Bar, which was a pop up bar for Christmas time. It’s a hidden bar, or speak easy, so you have to know about it to find out where it was. It was actually at the bottom of a hotel and was such a neat place. There were Christmas lights and decor everywhere, and they even played Christmas music. They had cute Christmas-themed drinks too. It was really fun and I’m so glad we waited in line to get in!

After that we went back downtown and ended up spending the most time at Dierks Bentley’s bar where we sang, danced, and hung out for most of the night. It was SO packed on Saturday night – I’d say there were probably 3-4x as many people out Saturday night vs Friday. We couldn’t even move on Saturday and it was wall to wall people. Even though it was super crowded, we had a blast. We ended the night at the diner and headed back to the hotel.

Sunday morning we grabbed brunch to go, picked up our candles, and headed home. We had such a fun trip and I had so much fun helping my sister plan it. There are so many fun things to do in Nashville, and I can’t wait to go back and visit soon! 🙂
