Hey y’all! Happy Thursday! Is it just me or has this week flown by? I’m not complaining because we’re almost to the weekend! Drew has been traveling again this week, so I’m so ready to see him and spend time together as a family this weekend. His birthday is coming up in a few weeks (November 8), and we’ve been wanting to go somewhere fall-y and beautiful! The leaves here in Georgia are still green and they basically go from green to brown lol. We don’t get the pretty fall foliage like the folks up north!

Speaking of fall trips, Bridegwater Candle Company just launched their new fragrance called Weekend Getaway. Y’all. It seriously smells SO good! It reminds me of the crisp, fall air and has me feeling nostalgic about all of my fave fall memories like going to football games to watch Drew play in high school + attending together in college, trips to Gatlinburg and the mountains, and so many other good times. Fall is seriously such a fun time of year.
Besides having amazing-smelling candles, Bridgewater Candle Company has an amazing program called Light A Candle Feed a Child. They donate 3 meals to orphaned children overseas with every jar candle sold. Bridgewater actually just completed their 8th trip as a company visiting one of the orphanages they support in Haiti in honor of them hitting 8 million donated meals. 8 MILLION! I love supporting companies that give back, and their cause truly touches my heart as I’m a mom now. 🙂
Planning our trip this fall
I did a survey on Instagram yesterday and y’all had SO many great recommendations! I wanted to share them all on this post as I know some of y’all are planning weekend getaways for this fall too! One of the places we’ve really been wanting to visit (that we never have) is Vermont! We’re on the fence about taking Olivia – I don’t want to leave her but I don’t want it to be madness either haha. Either way, I’m super excited and am so excited to take a much needed trip!! 🙂
