Ingredients:
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil (or applesauce)
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 whole eggs
- 1/2 tsp real vanilla
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- semi-sweet choc chips to taste (about 1/4 cup)
Directions:
- Preheat oven time 350* & coat pan with nonstick spray or butter
- Melt butter in the microwave ~45 sec
- Mix butter, olive oil, sugar, & brown sugar with a hand mixer for 1 minute
- Add 2 eggs & vanilla. Mix with hand mixer 1 min until lighter in color + fluffy
- Sift in flour, cocoa, & salt – mix by hand – do NOT over mix or it will dry them out!
- Spread evenly into a glass baking dish & bake according to pan size
- I have a 7×10, 22 qt glass dish & bake exactly 20 mins. I also have a 9×13 (used for these photos) & bake for 18 mins! Do NOT over bake! Middle will leave a little batter on the knife, because they’re fudgy
- Let cool for 5-10 mins, serve, & enjoy! š
- 430 cal for 1/5 of the pan
