Happy Friday Eve everyone! TGI(a)F for sure. It’s been so gorgeous outside this week, I cannot wait to get out and enjoy the sunshine this weekend. It’s the kind of weather that makes me want to go on a run, but then I remember that I actually hate running lol, like a lot. So I won’t be running but I will actually be walking my doggies and letting them enjoy the sunshine the weekend too. 🙂
So, this outfit is the perfection of outfits. There is just something about olive, and these olive jeans, that I’ll just love forever. I always feel so pretty wearing olive– olive jeans, olive shirts, olive pants, olive swimsuits, olive anything really. I love that this olive jeans and white shirt combo creates an outfit that is so comfortable and casual, but looks so stylish and well put together. The separate pieces in this outfit are all amazing transitional pieces as we make our way into the warmer weather.
These olive jeans are seriously amazing. They are the Gap STRETCH 1969 true skinny jeans in the color temporal olive. I have another pair of Gap Jeans that I really love, so that is why I decided to give these a go. For those of you who don’t know me well, I am 5’5 on a good day. Which means I have the hardest time finding jeans that aren’t way too long. I usually have to roll up my jeans to make them work, but not these! For these Gap olive jeans, I actually ordered a petite for the first time in my life. I always thought petite was just for small girls (which I am definitely not), and never ventured into the petite section. Well for pants I couldn’t have been more wrong! They actually fit me in the length and aren’t any smaller than a regular pant would be. These are also amazing because they have such incredible stretch to them. In a good way though, meaning they don’t stretch out and get baggy on you, but move with you throughout the day. These olive jeans are actually comfortable to wear, and I reach for them in the morning just for that reason!
The white linen henley shirt is also from Gap. I love the fact that it isn’t a full button up. The linen fabric is also so cool and breezy, so I don’t feel restricted at all when wearing it. I have a feeling I will be loving it this summer with jean shorts and sandals. It’s the kind of shirt that will go with anything.
For accessories I kept it simple! Y’all know I love the new purse I am sporting here, and it just pulled from the lighter color on my leopard flats perfectly. I am obsessed with these Sam Edelman Aster Snow Leopard flats. They are super comfortable and do not give me blisters which is actually amazing. I feel like almost all other flats I’ve tried give me blisters. The metallic gold mirrored toe is so gorgeous and adds the perfect chic touch to any outfit. I actually got these Same Edelman leopard flats at Nordstrom Rack like 1 or 2 summers ago and I am still loving them. I feel like gold accessories and these olive jeans go so well together, too. I’m also obsessing over my new BaubleBar Mason Pave Ring that I bought with my bad at Nordstrom as well. It’s so girly and dainty, and is super affordable. My rose gold Kate Spade watch is what Drew gave me on or wedding day, so I will probably wear it until it literally falls apart.
I curled my hair with my Beachwaver, which I am still sooo obsessed with. These are actully day 2 curls, which makes me love it even more. I can be so lazy when it comes to my hair sometimes, I like whatever I do to it to be quick and easy. I just twisted the front pieces back and tied them off with my favorite clear hair polybands from Scunci.
