WHAT IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?
Hey y’all! Today I want to talk about one of my FAVORITE SALES of the year! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Basically, you’re able to get brand new summer and fall arrivals at discounted prices at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, or NSale for short! I’m talking like 40% off brand new for this year clothing, boots + booties, baby gear, home decor, and more!
After the sale is over, everything goes back up to full price! Last year they had some amazing deals, and there are SO many good pieces + brands (Tory Burch, Barefoot Dreams, Nuna, Steve Madden, and more!!) in the sale this year!
WHEN IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE 2019?
July 12-18: For Nordstrom Credit Card holders – the early early access sale starts tomorrow, July 12! I highly encourage you to look into this option if you’re like me and HAVE to have a few things before it’s open to the public – because the good items that are on major sale will sell out fast! The card is super easy to apply for and you can apply now to be able to shop the sale starting tomorrow! 🙂
For non-card members, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 opens up to the public July 19!

MY TIPS FOR SHOPPING THE SALE
Shop early! Last year a few things I was eyeing sold out SO FAST! I’m talking minutes y’all, so if you want it, add it to your cart and buy it! Nordstrom has FREE returns anytime so if you don’t like it or it doesn’t fit, you don’t lose anything!
If you’re in between sizes or unsure of your size, order 2! I order 2 sizes of the same thing a lot and return the one that doesn’t fit as well. It ensures that you’ll have the correct size just in case the item sells out.
Set a budget for yourself and write down key items you want! Do you want a brand new pair of boots to wear all this fall and winter? Or maybe you’ve been eyeing a pair of every day staple jeans? Have a plan and stick to it! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of my favorite times to buy staple pieces (pieces you wear over and over season to season).

WHAT DO I BUY DURING THE SALE?
-Staple Fall pieces (basic tees for layering with cardigans, cardigans sweaters, 1 pair of designer jeans, 2-3 pairs of booties, 1 pair of over the knee boots or riding boots, 1-2 coats (maybe a rain jacket too), 1 designer hand bag, a few affordable accessories, a couple home items, a few baby essentials, and that’s usually about it! 🙂

–What car seat + stroller brand do you use? We use Nuna and the Pipa Lite, Nuna Mixx Stroller, and Nuna Rava Car Seat are all a part of the sale! 🙂 The Nuna PIPA Lite LX Infant Car Seat & Base is what we used for Olivia + will be using for new baby – it’s on sale for $315 – after the sale it will be $415! The Nuna Rava Flame Retardant Free Convertible Car Seat is Olivia’s car seat now and it’s on sale for $375 – after the sale it will be $500. Olivia’s Nuna 2019 Mixx Stroller in on sale for $500 – after the sale it will go back up to $670.
–What Barefooot Dreams items Are part of the sale? My fave leopard throw blanket from last year in 4 colors, a few of the super-soft cardigans, 2-3 other blanket styles, and super-cute socks! The leopard throw is on sale for $120 – after the sale it will be $180 – making it almosy 40% off! 🙂
–Will Maxi-Cosi be a part of the sale? YES! The Maxi-Cosi Mico Max Plus Infant Car Seat is on sale for $225 – after the sale it will be $300 and the Maxi-Cosi Magellan Max 2019 5-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is on sale for $260 – after the sale it will be $350.
–Is UppaBaby part of the sale? No UppaBaby items are a part of the sale this year!
–Can you see what’s on sale before it starts? As a blogger I was sent a sneak peek of every item that’s part of the sale, but the public won’t be able to see everything online until Friday July 12 – that’s when cardholders are allowed to start shopping the sale. For the public/non-card holders, the sale opens up for you tp shop July 19!
–Who gets to shop starting Friday July 12? Nordstrom credit card holders start shopping on July 12. Non card holders can start shopping on July 19!
MY FAVORITE ITEMS THAT ARE BACK THIS YEAR THAT WERE PART OF THE 2018 SALE
For the past couple of years I’ve really been shopping the sale, I’m still using (& loving!) some of my favorite finds from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale!
Barefoot dreams leopard blanket – this blanket sells out SO FAST once the sale starts every year. It’s on sale for $120 and will go back up to $180 after the sale is over. I have it in the cream/tan and it comes in 3 other colors! I also like to splurge on 1 Barefoot dreams cardigan – I plan on living in it once new baby is here + will take the cardigan and blanket to the hospital with me! 🙂 I am torn between the silver and the black!
This throw blanket in grey – we still have this on our living room couch. It’s SO SOFT & only $26 – will go back up to $40 after the sale! It’s great to keep as a gift too – they are so soft and make the perfect last minute gift for anyone 🙂
DENIM– I LOVE these jeans from Paige Denim – I get a new pair every year to add to my collection. Paige jeans are true to size, have a little stretch, comfy for a ll day wear, and make your booty look GOOD! I wear them probably 4-5 days out of the week, especially in the fall or winter. They’re my go-to when I need something to throw on and go! I’m also loving these Paige ripped cropped skinnies (great length for my 5’5 and under girls) and these Paige high waist light wash straight leg jeans.
AFFORDABLE DENIM – I also love getting 1-2 other pair of more affordable jeans (under $100 u usually around $50-60 each) just to have more affordable options too! Kut from the Kloth has some really cute high waisted skinnies and cigarette style jeans thus year.
Nuna Car Seat + Stroller System: We love the Nuna system and it’s a great time to buy as they hardly ever go on sale. SPANX – My favorite bra of all time is almost always a part of the NSale! It’s the comfiest bra and the only bra I’ve worn since college. It’s super stretchy and comfy and I wore it throughout my entire pregnancy with Olivia too. It’s also a great time to get a piece of shape wear and their shaping leggings at a great price! My favorite SPANX shape wear are these in nude and my fave SPANX Faux Leather Leggings are always a part of the sale!
Essential Oil diffusers – 2 of my fave diffusers are back part of the sale this year. This gorgeous Supernova diffuser I use on my office – it’s a beautiful ceramic! This smaller diffuser I keep in the kitchen and I love it too!
