For my foundation, I apply it using the expert face brush. The Make Up Forever Matte is go-to these days for foundation. This is great for oily girls like me, and lasts all day when set with translucent powder. I use the It Cosmetics CC cream when my skin is drier, or for covering up redness. It’s more dewy/moisturizing, so powder is necessary with normal/oily skin. I always set my foundation with the Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder. I use the big fluffy powder brush from Real Techniques, and keep an extra in my purse. It’s also amazing for touchups throughout the day to minimize oil without adding more makeup. It never gets cake-y! I set my makeup with the Mario Badescu Rose Water to take the powdery finish away. For lighter days, I use the CC powder as foundation instead of the liquids. It’s also an amazing sunscreen! 🙂
For bronzer, I always contour my cheeks and my forehead just lightly with a smaller brush. I like the setting brush I linked below because you have a lot more control over it as opposed to a huge bronzer brush. Blush is an everyday must for me as well, and I apply it with the blush brush I linked below. I love the Real Techniques brushes because they’re well made, last a long time, and are SO affordable. Ulta does them BOGO 50% all the time and you can use the weekly coupon on them too!
I swear by the Stila waterproof liner. I’ve been using this for 10 years (really) and won’t ever switch. It stays all day, is SO dark and black, and applies very easily. I love the fine tip!
I also swear by the Roller Lash mascara linked below. It curls and adds volume like a dream. It also lasts all day (10+ hours) and NEVER flakes.
