Hey y’all! It’s officially the weekend, whoop whoop! Yesterday’s beautiful weather definitely gave me a serious case of spring fever. I am so over the cold and ready for some sunshine and bright colored clothes.
These monogrammed earrings from Marley Lilly are seriously TO DIE for. I’m a huge lover of anything monogrammed, especially jewelry. These pearl backs on these monogrammed earrings make these so unique to me. Instead of having a regular earring back, the “back” of the earring is a big pearl.

For my outfit I kept it pretty simple. I have on a gorgeous poppy colored blouse from J Crew Factory, that seriosuly screams spring and summer to me. I love bright reddish-orange, and am so happy to see this fiesta red becomming popular again this spring season. Just looking at that color makes me happy. I paired it with some skinny jeans and bootie wedges, and that’s it! Sometimes simplicity is beautiful in itself. I feel like sometimes I get so caught up in having things match perfectly, when in reality I feel like my favorite looks are thrown together when I’m in a rush. Does anyone else feel that way too, or is it just me? Haha.

I wanted to show these adorable Marley Lilly monogrammed earrings off, so I pulled my hair up into a bouncy ponytail. I just used day (or two, who is counting?) old waves and brushed them quickly up into a ponytail. I decided to do a dutch fishtail braid at my crown, because fishtails are so spring and summer-y to me. For me there’s no better way to get into the spring spirit than adding a fishtail braid to my ponytail! Mine is very messy and pulled apart. That is what I love about braids, you don’t have to be perfect at them to make them look fabulous! Even when your hair is down these are so lovely! If y’all would like a tutorial on the dutch fishtail let me know. It’s definitely one of the harder braids to master in my opinion, and I am still getting better at it.
