Happy Monday y’all! Today (thankfully) flew by for me, and I am hoping the rest of the week does too. I have always been a huge lover of ALL things Madewell. When the opportunity to collab with them came my way, I couldn’t wait to share with y’all. I am a true believer in investing in “staple” pieces when it comes to my clothing and accessories. I buy one nice thing and then just pair it with other pieces to change up the look on an everyday basis. 🙂 Staples for me are jeans, jackets, boots, handbags, and bras. Just for example, I treat myself to a new pair of jeans every fall, and a new handbag 1-2 times a year.
These Madewell jeans are going to be a HUGE staple item for me this fall and winter. These are the new Madewell 9″ high-rise skinny jeans in hammond wash: drop-hem edition. The drop-hem is seriously the coolest. They have *just* the right amount of distress, and the high waist is ultra flattering and SO comfortable. They doesn’t dig into your waist and actually makes wearing jeans enjoyable. I’m such a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. I have been guilty of wearing the same jeans 5 days in a row to work before. True story.
This Madewell East-West Transport Tote is seriously bomb. It’s real leather and fits EVERYTHING. For me, I travel a lot for my job and always stuff everything in my purse. I typically use my purse as my carry-on, so I load it up. Durability is a huge factor for me, because it’s sitting under the seat on the plane, being thrown in my car, and still needs to look nice when I am on the job. The leather on this Madewell East-West Transport Tote will only become more beautiful over time. I’ll never have to worry about anything staining it or discoloring it. It also has amazing compartments on the side of it, for easy access of my cell phone, lipgloss, and IDs. This is so nice, because in the past none of my tote bags have had functional inside pockets like this one.
Long story short, it’s worth investing in these solid pieces, and that is actually the entire purpose behind the Madewell brand. It’s exactly what their name says, “made well!” With their jeans, all you have to do is throw on a t-shirt and you’re done.
