Y’all doesn’t baked ziti always taste like you’ve been cooking all day? BUT truth is, it’s so quick and easy to make! This recipe is sure to be a crowd pleaser even for a picky toddler! We love to add a salad, usually a bagged salad kit, to complete this meal! ❤️

Baked Ziti
Ingredients:
1 lb turkey (use 2 lbs for extra protien)
15 oz whole wheat penne pasta
25 oz jar marinara sauce
16 oz shredded part-skim mozzarella
1/2 cup shredded parmesan
1 egg
15 oz(1/2 container) part skim ricotta cheese
fresh basil to taste- chopped (optional)
Directions:
cook pasta & drain- put back in pot
cook ground turkey
preheat oven to 350*
add marinara to cooked ground turkey
In seperate bowl, mix the parmesan, ricotta cheese and egg
add cheese mixture & optional basil to ground turkey sauce & stir
add cheesy turkey mixture into pot with noodles and stir until fully mixed
add entire mixture to a 9×13 pan
top with mozzarella cheese
Bake uncovered on 350* for 35 minutes until cheese is browned and bubbly.
