Charlie & Penny + Friendship Collar

Happy Friday everyone!!! We have officially made it to the weekend. 🙂 Today I wanted to share with y’all 2 of the biggest parts of my life, my dogs! They made their debut on my blog a couple of weeks ago, but I wanted to get them a formal intro. 🙂 They’re honestly my best friends and I cannot imagine my life without them.

Growing up I loved wearing friendship bracelets and friendship necklaces to show that I was a BFF to someone.  Recently I found out about a company called Friendship Collar, and they do just that for you and your dogs! Your dog gets an adorable collar and you get a matching bracelet. It’s the cutest way to show that you and your fur baby are besties!!! I absolutely loving my matching bracelets and love telling everyone about them.

The girls love their collars and they fit so well. I love how girly they are, because when we’re out I always love letting everyone know that they are both my little princesses. The name for the color of their friendship collar is so suiting too, both of my girls have ‘The Pedigree Princess‘ which is so suiting for them! They have so many different styles of their friendship collar, and even have ones for all of you cat lovers out there too!

Charlie

Charlie entered our life Christmas of 2014. She was born November 3, so she will be 2 in just a couple of weeks! She’s a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, wheaten for short, and we got her from a local breeder in Georgia! Charlie is a giant fuzz-ball full of personality and energy. She loves everyone she meets, and sometimes I swear she loves strangers more than me (I don’t think so, but she does love everyone!). She is so excitable and takes a while to calm down anytime we have company over at our house.

Her nicknames are CC, Charlie Bear, Chi Chi, Doug (reference from the movie ‘Up’), and so many more haha. She is a peanut butter lover and can grab anything off the counter. We have had very many meals disappear thanks to our Charlie girl. She & Penny are both hypoallergenic, meaning they’re both great for people with allergies as neither of them shed! 🙂 Neither of them require daily brushing, we get them groomed about every 3-4 months and that’s it!

Penny

Penny was born December 28, 2014 and we actually didn’t get her as a puppy. We adopted her in August of 2015 as a best friend for Charlie. She is a ‘mini’ Australian Labradoodle, and is the cutest little thing you ever did see. Penny originally came from a breeder called Australian Heritage Labradoodles in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She’s a great girl and I would 100% recommend her breeders, even though we didn’t get her directly from them.

Penny is so quirky and funny. Her nicknames are Miss Wiggles, Miss P, Pen Pen, and Pen. We got her Miss Wiggles because anytime she gets excited she starts shaking and wiggling her butt. It’s the cutest! She hops around the house and the yard like a little bunny, and has such an adorable personality. Pen is so smart too, she can actually unlock the deadbolt to our backyard, push the door handle down, and frequently lets herself (& Charlie) outside to play. 🙂 She is also a sock addict and knows she can’t have them, but she can’t resist.

As you can tell, I love our dogs. I say they’re my best friends, but they’re Drew’s best friends as well. 🙂 They’re a mess and sometimes crazy, but we cannot ever imagine our lives without our sweet little girls!
