I’m SOOO excited to be finally sharing these photos with y’all. I’ve had my hands on them for a while and am so happy for y’all to see them!!!! As y’all know, Drew and I are already married, but we wanted to do something fun and out of the ordinary for us. Our wedding photographer, Megan Hobbs, was looking for a couple to do this with, so I immediately volunteered us! Thank goodness I did, because I am in awe of the beauty of these photos and how Megan always captures our love for one another.

Drew and I actually never even considered getting eloped! Which is kind of crazy thinking back now, because it would have saved us a lot of money. :”) But, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Our wedding day was perfect and beautiful, and I cannot believe it was nearly 2 years ago!!! But I would encourage elopement to any of my friends reading this (if you’re reading this I’m considering you my friend, okay!). Get a photographer, a minister, and go get married. A huge wedding sometimes can make you lose sight of what a marriage is actually all about, committing yourselves to each other forever. I even got caught up in silly things on my wedding day, but at the end of the day you’re marrying your soulmate, and however you choose to do it – that will be your own love story. <3

As cheesy as this sounds, I would marry Drew every single day if I could!

He’s seriously the love of my life and I cannot imagine my life without him. It was fun to get fake married again, because Megan actually photographed our own wedding (almost) 2 years ago! 🙂 So she definitely knows us by now and she seriously is just amazing. I cannot get over these shots. Who would ever know these were taken in Georgia? Providence Canyon is about 3 hours from where we live, and I had no idea such a place existed in Georgia! Some people call in the Little Grand Canyon and rightfully so. The pictures don’t even do this place justice. Where we took pics it was about a 15-20 minute walk, but worth every single step.

If you’re ever wanting a cool place for photo opps, or just want to take a day and admire another one of God’s beautiful creations, definitely check this place out. They have hiking trails too, so you can walk around, sit, and enjoy the view. I would love to go back one day, and will always remember this special day. I’m so thankful that Megan chose me to be a part of one of her photography dreams. 🙂
