My Show Me Your Mumu Casita Poppies & Cream Dress matched Drew’s pink & green shirt. How cute is he?! 🙂

It’s safe to say that my 23rd birthday was one for the books. My actual birthday was yesterday, April 10. However, Drew and I celebrated together on Saturday in Atlanta! Going to school there for 4 years together, Atlanta will always be our favorite place. Even though we do not live in Atlanta anymore, it always feels like “home” when we visit. I wanted to do a post on what we did to celebrate, and of course my birthday outfit!

To start of the day on Saturday, Drew took me to get my nails and toes done. Unlike most girls, I really don’t get my nails done all that often, and usually do them myself! So this was definitely a sweet surprise. I always feel prettier with my nails & toes done. 🙂 He then surprised me by getting us an amazing room at the Westin in Downtown Atlanta, with an amazing view of Midtown Atlanta (where we used to live) & Georgia Tech! The picture above is from our room after we got back from dinner. I seriously fell asleep staring at that view. 🙂

After we checked into the hotel, I changed into my “birthday” dress haha. I knew when I saw this Show Me Your Mumu Casita Poppies & Cream off shoulder dress that it was “the one.” Also, I got free one day shipping on Zappos, which is amazing, because I am such a procrastinator… I digress. Seriously this dress is so freaking adorable, I want an excuse to wear it again! Also, I was pretending that it wasn’t freezing, when I was actually completely frozen. Drew took me to Umi in Atlanta, which is an amazingly good & fresh sushi restaurant. Sushi is definitely one of my favorites, and they had the best sushi I’ve ever had. To end the night we went to this adorable bakery in Midtown, Sweet Hut Bakery. We shared a bubble tea and a cinnamon pastry. 🙂

Sunday, my actual birthday we ate brunch at one of my favorite places, Egg Harbor Cafe in Midtown. I had a lobster scramble (lobster, chives, and scrambled eggs) and blueberry pancakes. Seriously to die for. I definitely was in a food coma afterwards, and so was Drew. They seriously have the best pancakes ever. We drove home, and then met my parents, little brothers, and grandparents for dinner at Red Lobster. After dinner, we went back to my parent’s house for my mom’s (almost) famous “Chubbie’s” chocolate cake. We named it that because if you eat too much, you will get chubby. haha! It is seriously my weakness. Thank goodness birthdays only come around once a year, because this cake is straight up sinful.

Thank you to everyone who made my birthday so special. Shout out to my husband for making me feel like a princess every day, but this weekend I felt like a queen 24/7. He seriously knows how to spoil his wife and makes me feel so loved. 🙂 I truly appreciated every single Happy birthday wish. It was a great one, that is for sure. I am looking forward to what 23 brings! I have a great feeling about it, that’s for sure. 🙂 I really do want to find an excuse to wear this Show Me Your Mumu Casita Poppies & Cream dress again… I hope y’all have an amazing week!!!!
