Sheet Masks: Friday Favorites

Petaluma & Co. Gel Sheet Masks

Miss Flower & Mr. Honey Mask | Coconut Gel Mask | Bee Venom Mask

Haaaaaappy Friday y’all!

One of my absolute favorite skin care products and just favorite thing in general right now are sheet masks. I’ve always loved masks. I remember wanting to do masks with my mom in middle school, maybe earlier. Masks have come a long way since then and sheet masks have as well!

Traditional sheet masks are a fibrous cloth soaked in some kind of serum, and you leave it on your face for 20-30 minutes and rub in the remaining serum after you take it off. You can choose one for any skin condition and they actually work.

These sheet masks from Petaluma & Co. are gel sheet masks. So instead of a cloth feel, they’re almost jelly like and mold to the ax act shape of your face. It helps every inch of skin get covered, especially around your nose where it conforms to every curve on your face. They stay in place very well too, I can walk around the house without a problem when I have them on. The gel also locks in 10x the moisture of a traditional fabric sheet mask. This means the serum is absorbed even netter with the gel sheet masks.

Anytime I have a horrible pimple or a breakout occur, I put my sheet mask on, watch some tv, and then go to bed. I love applying them at night time, so the serum can absorb and start doing its magic while you’re sleeping. I will wake up and the pimple(s) have always calmed down and already have shrunk in the morning.

Coconut Gel Mask: For you girls with redness, like myself, the blueberry coconut mask is a miracle worker. The coconut is calming and does amazing things for redness and rosacea, and the blueberry is high in antioxidants and actually help heal acne.

Bee Venom Mask: Also great for all you girls dealing with acne. Sometimes I’m like will the acne ever stop? Lol. I know bee venom sounds scary but it actually does wonders for unclogging pores and clarifying your skin overall. I woke up looking so much clearer and less inflamed than when I went to bed. My face looked so good in the days following as well. This one really helped with the black and whiteheads around my nose. Yuck.

Miss Flower & Mr. Honey Mask: When I am in the sun, am dehydrated, or feeling under the weather my skin always shows it. It gets dry and flakey and just straight up dull. My forehead was peeling from sunburn (I know skincare no no!) and I put this baby on and in the morning all of the peeling was gone. Seriously all of it. I was amazed. I put mine in the fridge about an hour before I wanted to apply, and the coolness really helped soothe my skin too.

I use a sheet mask generally about once a week, or once every other week. Sometimes I reuse them to get double the use if there is a lot of serum left in the bag. I love using them when I get off the airplane and after travel, because my skin always needs TLC after traveling.

I hope y’all have a fab weekend! ❤️
