Happy Thursday y’all! I hope everyone is getting excited for Valentine’s Day, because I sure am! Today I am showing y’all how to do this romantic braided updo, that is perfect to wear out with your man (or your GALentine) this Valentine’s Day! Before I get started please SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube channel. Pretty please! 🙂

This bun was inspired by a very similar braided bun on Pinterest. So naturally I was like hey, I want to re-create that and video it! So I did and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out. It’s so romantic and soft– perfect for Valentine’s Day or date night. It’s actually great anytime you just want dang-that-girl-looks-gorgeous hair because it’s so simple. It’s just a simple dutch braid wrapped around a classic wrap or ballerina bun. It’s so quick and easy and you will be shocked at how gorgeous it is once you’re finished.

All you need to know how to do for this romantic braided updo is a dutch braid, a simple 3 strand braid, and a basic twisted or ballerina bun. For all of your braid newbies, the dutch braid is definitely one you want to learn. It takes time and practice, and a lot of frustration. Once you master it though, the possibilities are endless!

Please let me know how you’re wearing your hair for this Valentine’s Day and tag me if you create this romantic braided bun! I’m definitely going to be wearing this romantic braided updo out and about wherever Drew and I end up going! I’ll post another picture on the actual day I’m sure. I have the hair down, now I just have to figure out what I am going to wear! 🙂
