PIIT28 1.0 Round 2 Review + Results

WOW. I cannot believe how quickly these past 56 days AKA 2 months of doing PIIT28 have flown by. I started PIIT28 1.0 round 1 on March 1, ending March 28, and PIIT28 1.0 round 2  on April 1 (no joke ;)) and ended on April 28. ***If you haven’t seen my PIIT28 1.0 Round 1 Results + Review post yet, go check it out now!*** Seriously… I am so proud of myself for successfully completing PIIT28 1.0 round 1 and PIIT28 1.0 round 2. It takes a lot of internal motivation and drive to stick to something like this, especially for 2 straight months. It wasn’t always easy, I am not going to sugar coat it for y’all. However I feel so good. I feel so happy and motivated, like nothing can stop me. That may sound stupid or crazy, but whatever it’s true. If you want to sign up for PIIT28, click here! I love it so much I am an ambassador, and would love for you to sign up under me. 🙂
This past month of doing PIIT28 1.0 round 2 has honestly harder than PIIT28 1.0 round 1 in all honesty. Why? Well my birthday was April 10, so lots of eating/cake/etc, my mom’s bday on April 14, and traveled to Austin for one of my great friend’s wedding (lots of cake, food, etc) my sister’s the 17th (haven’t celebrated because she has been down at college and super busy with finals week approaching WAH), and just LIFE! I interviewed for a new position within my same company, got super busy at work, and have been talking about buying a house with Drew (what!!! I KNOW, CRAZZZYYYYY and terrifying). Lots of stuff in between too haha. Also PIIT28 2.0 is a little bit more of a time commitment, and just overall more challenging! I feel like I was consistently sore, not immobile or anything like that, but the kind of sore you feel when you know your body is changing and becoming stronger. It is the best kind of sore.

PIIT 28 1.0 VS PIIT28 2.0

What is different about PIIT28 1.0 round 2 than PIIT28 1.0 round 1? So the PIIT28 is structured for 6 days on, 1 day of rest. During PIIT28 1.0 round 1, on your day of rest you do that, REST! For PIIT28 1.0 round 2 however, on that “rest” day you have an “optional” “stronger” workout instead of the typical PIIT28 scheduled workout. I say optional in quotes, because I did’t see it as optional! Every week I did the “stronger” workout and OMG. It kicked my butt. Like even still during the last week I was super sore all over the day after (and 2nd day after) my workout. Especially my shoulders!
Another difference for PIIT28 1.0 round 2  is an added ab workout every day. So, for PIIT28 1.0 round 1 you have the optional warmup, the workout, and then the optional stretch. I say optional because I didn’t do the warmup, and I did the stretches a couple-few times a week when I felt like I needed it/had the time. For PIIT28 1.0 round 2 it’s the same optional warmup, workout, ab workout (~18 minutes extra), and then optional stretch. So you’re working your abs every single day, and will see a HUGE improvements in appearance and strength of your core and abdominals after PIIT28 1.0 round 2.

On the overview, PIIT28 1.0 round 1 is supposed to help lean you out/lose inches and PIIT28 1.0 round 2 is supposed to chisel/tone you even more. I would say that I agree with this, however I continued to lose inches in the 2nd round! Which was pretty cool. 🙂 I grew even stronger, and did moves with ease that I absolutely despised in the first round. I still hate tuck jumps, surfers, and jumping lunges though. 🙂 My favorite moves are probably the alternating front lunges, fast squats, side-lunge hops, and I absolutely loved the entire videos for the flat ab fix and then stronger 1.0. It was so cool to see myself improving in the moves in the 2 months, and the new moves for PIIT28 1.0 round 2 in days 29-56.

Measurements

For my body measurements for PIIT28, I had Drew measure me on the exact specified locations on the picture from the PIIT28 guide/PDF. 🙂 This helped measure the same spots every time, for the most accurate measurements and results. PLEASE have someone measure you, because it’s too hard to measure yourself, and measuring is KEY to seeing your hard work pay off! My scale changed a bit, but not as much as my measurements! 🙂 (I lost ~5 pounds in round 1, and ~1-2 pounds in round 2!)

Before PIIT28 (March 1)
-Waist (smallest part): 28.5″
-Hips (Drew & I measured the same day and our hips were the same size…omg): 40″
-Right arm: 11.875″
-Left arm: 11.625″
-Right Thigh: 22.5″
-Left Thigh: 22.25″
-Bust: 35.5″
-Chest: 30.75″

After PIIT28 1.0 Round 2 (April 28)
-Waist: 27.25″
-Hips: 39″
-Right arm: 11.625″
-Left arm: 11.625″
-Right Thigh: 21″
-Left Thigh: 21″
-Bust: 34.25″
-Chest: 29.5

I was so freaking excited when I saw the “after” PIIT28 numbers after Drew measured me. If you saw my PIIT28 1.0 round 1 Post, I lost 4.125″ from round 1. Well from round 2, I lost an additional 3.625″ for a total of 7.75″ lost from PIIT28 1.0 round 1 and PIIIT28 1.0 round 2!!!! HOLY COWWWWW. The tuck  jumps, endless jumping lunges, burpees, sweat dripping from my forehead, everything was so worth it for these results. Not only my physical results but I am just so much stronger. MY core and abs have never been so tough and strong in my entire life. My legs have never been so shapely, muscular, and lean. (I lost 1.5″ on each thigh!). Mentally I have never been stronger either. I know that I CAN and WILL do whatever I set my mind to. I am not going to quit, because why? Quitting and giving up, sitting on my butt isn’t even an option. I love doing it for me, to make myself happy and stronger.

What did I eat? Pretty much the same stuff I always do, which I hi-lighted in my first review of PIIT28 1.0 Round 1 if y’all wanna read it there. No fried foods, no dairy other than low sugar/high protein greek yogurt, etc. I wasn’t counting cals on my fitness pal, however if I was to guess for any given day, I feel like I am in a comfortable 1600 cal/day range, maybe more I don’t know. All my cals and sugar and protein are all clean though, and that makes a huge difference. I don’t want to focus this post too much on eating and food (it’s just as, if not more important than working out), I want to focus more on the nitty gritty of the PIIT28 1.0 round 2. 🙂

Drew & I are going to Mexico to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary in a little under 2 weeks and I am so freaking excited to sport my bikini ready bod on the beach! I honestly feel like I look better now than I did last year, and I was cutting calories and working out like a cray cray girl then.

Overall, I love PIIT28 so much because it is so manageable. I can do it wherever I want, whenever I want. I don’t need any equipment, and love doing it by myself after work at my house. The time commitment is so doable too. In the past for me, I know the “time” is always an excuse. However, it isn’t with this. The 28 mins + 18 mins for abs and whatever time I want to dedicate to stretching is definitely sustainable long-term for me. I don’t have to drive to the gym, spend 1-1.5+ hours there, then drive home. I can crank it out and get on with my day. I always feel so good after doing the workouts too, which is why I love doing them after work when I am usually tired and sluggish. It helps pick me up for the rest of my evening, and helps me be in a great mood to spend time with Drew at home. 🙂 After reading all of this, I hope you are compelled to sign up for PIIT28 and commit to a stronger and happier you! Click here if you would like to sign up! I have had 44 people sign up under me which is so incredible. It makes me so happy that y’all have seen me stick to the program, and want to make the same changes for yourself. I promise you will be SO happy that you did.

Ok, I am done with PIIT28 1.0 round 1 & PIIT28 1.0 round 2 soooooo now what?

Well congrats girl, we did it! For me, it isn’t over. I am going to keep doing the workouts! PIIT28 2.0 was just released, and I will be starting it today, May 2! Say some prayers for me because I feel like PIIT28 2.0 will be way more intense than the 1.0! 🙂 I can’t guarantee that I will workout 7x/week for the next 56 days again, but I will do what works best for me! I really would love to, but we shall see! I told y’all Drew and I are going to Mexico for a week leaving May 14, and then the weekend we come home one of my good friends is getting married in NC! I will try to fit it in my busy schedule, and that is something I am really going to work on! Being consistent with my schedule really helps me stay on track. 🙂 I will definitely keep y’all posted on my progress of PIIT28 2.0. Side note, you need to do PIIT28 1.0 round 1 and round 2, before purchasing/starting PIIT28 2.0!

Until next time! I hope y’all have an amazing week. If you’re starting PIIT 1.0 round 1, PIIT 1.0 round 2, PIIT 2.0 round 1, or thinking about it starting PIIT28 in general today, GOOD LUCK! Hey Lilly! 🙂 Unfortunately round 2 is not free, however for completing round 1 you get it for $29USD! You could honestly be fine with just 1.0, and I did that 2 rounds (2 months) before starting 2.0! So you have some time to decide too. And you get a tank for completing 1.0 for free too! I’m in the middle of 2.0 right now and it’s still kicking my butt daily! Good luck, let me know what you decide to do. Xoxo

I really really want to try this. But do you think it is challenging enough? Because I am in a pretty good shape, I think and I am always so scared that only 30 minutes are not enough to become leaner and toned. So sorry for all those questions?

Did you end up adding free weights during round 2 of PIIT28 1.0?

Hey Karen! I didn’t, but I feel like it would definitely add even more tone and definition if you did. 🙂 However, you’ll totally see amazing results without adding them in! Hope this helps! XOXO
