Friday Favorites – What I’ve Been Loving Lately!

Haaaaappy Friday, y’all! Today I’m sharing a few things that I’ve been loving lately! I want to start doing these posts more frequently, because it’s really fun to share my favorites with y’all! 🙂

Skincare Picks

For my gals with acne: Mario Badescu Spot Treatment

I’m obsessed with this Mario Badescu Spot Treatment. You may or may not have seen YouTubers and other bloggers talk about this product before, and it’s for a good reason. I will put this on any pimple on my face at night before I go to bed, and when I wake up the pimple is significantly smaller! It’s the best spot treatment I’ve ever tried, and the price makes it even better. Good skincare doesn’t have to be expensive y’all. When I find something this good, I cant keep it from y’all! 😉

For my rosacea friends: Ren Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream

This Ren Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream (whew, that was a mouthful!) is the BOMB for reducing red and irritated skin. I’ve talked about how I struggle with this weird, red and dry skin around my nose before. I’m pretty sure it’s rosacea, and it’s such a pain. I put this evercalm cream on my face, concentrating on irritated areas, every morning. It makes my skin feel so soothed, and less itchy. It also dramatically reduces the redness! It’s a great moisturizer too for the rest of your face, and it smells soooo good. It’s a very soft and clean fragrance that’s very “all-natural” smelling, but in a good way!

For anyone that likes a multi-purpose serum: Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Serum

This Glycolic Fix Serum from Nip + Fab is a great all-over face serum that I apply at night to help with acne and irritation. It claims to reduce redness too, and I don’t really see that. But, I do feel like it makes my complexion overall more clear and smooth. The smell is interesting, it’s kind of like grapefruit and something else. It’s not bad, but it’s not a super yummy grapefruit smell either. But the scent fades pretty quickly, so it’s not a huge deal breaker. I love the consistency of this product. Because it’s a gell it applies very easily and dries quickly and feels really good on my skin once it’s dry. It’s super affordable too, which is another plus!

dermalogica mirror

For my girls who didn’t get enough sleep last night:Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Life

I just got this from Dermalogica about a month ago. I LOVE it! It’s the Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Life, and basically the product name says it all. It gives your eyes a surge of moisture and makes you look well rested and awake, even if you’re really not. So many mornings I wake up with puffy eyes, especially when I’m traveling, and this product really helps with that problem. I ALWAYS take this with me when I travel, it’s perfect for post-plane too. I will put it on right when I get up, brush my teeth, spray in some dry shampoo, and it’s dry! Makeup applies perfectly on this too. 🙂 How cute is this light up mirror with my name on it?! I’m obsessed. One of the coolest things that’s ever been sent to me. 🙂

Beauty Picks

I am OBSESSED with this Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream from IT Cosmetics! It covers e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. Pimples, redness, discoloration, everything. And it does;t look cake. I always set it with a powder, because my skin gets pretty oily throughout the day. With powder, this foundation lasts all day long. Like 12+ hours. It stays until I want to take it off.

I love the coordinating powder, the CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder. I actually wear it alone sometimes on days I want lighter coverage. It gives the skin a beautiful airbrush finish and also covers all red. I find the powder to be way darker than what they say. I wear the “fair” color and I’m never, ever fair in anything. For summer I wear the ‘light’ shade, but it looks super orange on me right now. I also love setting the CC Cream with my fave setting powder from Laura Mercier. This one is perfect for on the go touch-ups and won’t ever make your face look cake-y. Spray your face all over with this spray after too for a skin-like finish. 🙂

Lazy-Day Picks

For the cuddle-all-morning-on-a-Saturday girl: Black Floral Lounge Pajama Pants from Gap

These jammies from Gap are seriously the coziest things I’ve ever owned. The cotton is buttery soft, and feels so good one your skin. The fabrics are thinner, so I don’t sweat in these even though they’re pants. And that’s a huge deal because I’m SO hot-natured! Gap is 40% off your entire purchase, so treat yourself to some new lazy-day clothes. I promise you’ll love them!

For the girly girl: Soft Pink T-Shirt Lace Bra – from Lively

This Bra in soft pink was sent to me from Lively, and it’s seriously the prettiest. It has gorgeous lace detail on the back, which is so pretty showing through I light-colored tank for the summer. It’s the perfect shade of blush pink, which is one of my fave colors. It’s also comfortable for all day wear and is made very well. It can hook in the back too, which makes it perfect for racerback tees! It fits true to size also, which is always hard to know ordering online. 🙂 Use code ‘AMB-MORGANB’ to save $10 off any purchase from now until May 13! 🙂

For the indecisive girl: Cute + Comfy Undies from Splendies

I was sent these by Splendies, and they’re so adorable. All 3 pairs are so soft and comfy. Perfect for lazy days and on the weekends. I love that they have a subscription service, and they will just send you different pairs every month! It’s perfect for me because sometimes I’m so indecisive, it’s nice just having them pick for me. 🙂 Use code ‘SPLENDIES’ to get $4 off you first month!!
