Crown Dutch Braid – Four Looks

Crown Dutch Braid

Happy Saturday everyone! I finally took the time to edit and publish this video on four different looks using a crown dutch braid for y’all. 🙂 PRETTY PLEASE subscribe to my YouTube channel!! It’s so easy that you can just click here! These hair styles are so feminine and pretty. The best part is that these looks are recreate-able for ANY hair length and do NOT require any extensions. If you have short hair, medium hair, long hair, thin hair, curly hair, etc. you will love this.

In this video, I am creating four different hair looks using the same base braid. The braid for all of the looks is a simple crown dutch braid. In the beginning of the video I show how the crown dutch braid is done. It will take some practice but in no time you will be a master! Just keep trying and trying and you will get it. I promise! It’s so worth it to take the time to learn this braid because it is so versatile. I wear my hair like this all the time and then just pull it back into a ponytail to wear it at the gym. It stays put and gets my hair our of my face. This is how I did my hair in my Show Me Your Mumu Oliver Tee post. 🙂 It took me close to half of an hour to finally master the braid when I was first learning, and that was trying over and over again. This braid is built on continuously for the four different hair looks.

The Four Crown Dutch Braid Looks:

The first crown dutch braid look is just tying off the braid and leaving it half undone. The second is braiding it all the way down and tying it off at the end of your hair. The third crown dutch braid look is doing the same crown dutch braid to the other side of your hair, and then tying the two braids together in the back. The last look is kind of two looks in itself. You just twist the hair from the two braids that you tied together and pull it through the loop like I did in my faux fishtail braid video. You can do one or two twists, and it’s a very pretty half-up half-down braid. You can keep doing more twists to get more of a braid or ponytail look.
