Happy Thursday y’all! Today I’m sharing such a fun post that Drew & I had so much fun creating for y’all. We are huge fans of at-home date nights, especially as the temperatures drop in the later months of the year. There’s just something about snuggling up all cozy with your loved one that’s just so sweet and perfect.

Fall At-Home Date Night Ideas
Firepit cuddles + s’mores
This is one of my favorite date nights that Drew & I have. We will go out to dinner or go shopping, and come home and turn on the fire pit. Bundled up in something cozy, it’s just so nice to have peaceful one on one time together. S’mores are one of Drew’s fave treats (and mine too), so it’s so much fun catching our marshmallows on fire together and laughing. We got our firepit late last winter and it was seriously one of my favorite purchases we’ve made for our home. We got ours at Target & they always have really good deals going on, so definitely check them out!
Build a movie-night blanket fort
Last December Drew planned out the sweetest at-home date night for us. I got home from work and he made me close my eyes and walk up to our bedroom. We have a separate sitting room area in our bedroom with a fireplace, and he built the cutest little blanket fort on the floor for us to cuddle on and watch movies! He even taped up sheets to the walls and ceilings so we really felt like we were in a fort. My heart totally melted and this was one of my favorite dates he’s ever done for me. He also got our favorite movie-theatre candy and made us hot chocolate. I’m such a believer that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to have the best time ever.
Star-gazing outside
We actually haven’t done this yet, but I’ve always wanted to! Drew has a truck and where we live it gets really dark at night. I have always thought it would be so much fun to cover the bed of the truck in blankets and bundle up to just lay there and stargaze! I think we’re definitely going to have to make this one happen this fall. 🙂
At-home spa night with your man
This one may make y’all laugh, but my man loves some pampering & R&R (and I totally do too!). Some of my favorite nights are just Drew & I sitting on the couch taking turns rubbing each others feet. He also loves a good face mask, so we will mask and laugh and just enjoy our time together. I love that Drew is such a good sport and always puts up with my girly antics. 🙂
Watch the sunrise together
We did this for the first time this past summer in Mexico. We got up suuuper early and ran down to the beach to catch the sunrise. It was seriously so breathtaking and beautiful to see everything be kissed by the morning sun. We have a few really good hills close to our house, so we definitely need to get up early one weekend morning and do this at our own house. Georgia has some beautiful sunrises and sunsets, so it’s totally worth getting up early to see the sun’s beauty.
